Travel information
Shuttle busses:
The busses for the transfer from the airport in Naples to the hotel in Acquafredda on the 10th October are scheduled to leave the airport at 14.00 and 17.30. There will be an English speaking guide waiting for you on arrival (if you have supplied the time of arrival and flight number of your flight). He/she will carry a sign reading FINSysB conference / Hotel Villa del Mare and explain how to find the bus. There will be a list with your names on the bus to make sure nobody will be left behind. In case you miss the first bus, you simply take the next.
Trains
In case you will miss the second and last bus you will have to take the train to Sapri. Sapri is the closest train station to Acquafredda. There are the following trains leaving from Naples Central Station to Sapri. Please call the hotel at +39 0973 878007 to arrange pick up from Sapri.

Here are some instructions how to get from the airport to the train station
1) You can take a
- bus called Ali Bus, timetable link here. It leaves every 20 minutes from outside the arrivals. It should take around 15 minutes. You have to get of at the central station/Piazza Garibaldi.
- Taxi, flat rate to go to central station should be 12.50€, but you have to ask for the flat rate at the beginning of the journey.
- The website for airport transport
- For the return journey (from Stazione Centrale/Piazza Garibaldi to Capodichino airport) buses leave from just outside the station on your right. Tickets can be bought in a small kiosk in front of the station or at the driver.
2) To get from central station to Sapri:
- Trains from Naples to Sapri leave from Naples Central Railway Station which has two floors: Stazione Centrale (above ground) and Stazione Piazza Garibaldi (underground). You should pay attention at which station your train stops.
- You can also book the train in advance here (advised for travelling on weekends) on the Italian railways website
Do not forget to buy your train ticket before your departure. Purchasing it in the train will result in a 50€ fine. Validate your ticket before entering the train at one of the orange boxes present at all departure platforms. Failing to do so will result in a 5€ fine. Not all trains offer refreshments on board.
