Public Dissemination Campaign
Through our public dissemination activities we hope to create an interface from cutting edge science to the general public, and thereby improve the public’s awareness and understanding of science.
The focus of the FINSysB network is the human fungal pathogen Candida albicans, but the scope and intent of our public dissemination is broader:
“Our goal is to improve public awareness and understanding of science by providing positive insights into general science and the people working in it. We aim to communicate the passion and excitement that we have for science to others and hope to pass the message that science is not only important for a specialized audience but for everyone.
We wish to engage the next generation of scientists to step forward and communicate their work and interests in science. It is our strongest belief that scientific research is central to an improvement of life for everyone.”
Besides getting our work published in peer-reviewed science journals, we use online networking as a unique way to raise culture awareness, practice communicating with people, getting our point across and polishing our thoughts and ideas. Moreover, it’s a great tool for reflection and learning. You can find us online and follow our thoughts, discussions and tweets through the following links:
